Through this course, you will be able to read doctors’ prescriptions and efficiently handle a hospital dispensary. A dispenser plays the main role of dispensing medicine to patients, helping the doctors at their private clinics, and to the pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy. Dispensers perform a variety of tasks associated with dispensing prescription medication under the guidance of a pharmacist or other health professional. They measure amounts of medication and give written and oral instructions on their use as prescribed by medical doctors to patients or clients.
